You can open KML, KMZ, and GPX files from Mail and Safari or attach them to an email. Additionally, you can export GPX and KML through iTunes and share your adventures on Facebook and Twitter.

GPS Kit has powerful waypoints features that allow you to add photos and notes to waypoints. The app also provides options for navigating to waypoints using a compass or magnetic compass. You can even see real-time updates on distance to waypoint.

For those who want to stay up-to-date with weather conditions, GPS Kit offers weather stations (U.S. Only) where you can create specific weather stations to get point forecasts for your fishing hole, ski tour, and more. This data is provided by the National Weather Service.

GPS Kit also offers intelligent data collection using maximum GPS accuracy, even without a cell signal. The app will automatically segment tracks for cleaner data.
