GPS Kit has powerful waypoints features that allow you to add photos and notes to waypoints. The app also provides options for navigating to waypoints using a compass or magnetic compass. You can even see real-time updates on distance to waypoint.

For those who want to stay up-to-date with weather conditions, GPS Kit offers weather stations (U.S. Only) where you can create specific weather stations to get point forecasts for your fishing hole, ski tour, and more. This data is provided by the National Weather Service.

GPS Kit also offers intelligent data collection using maximum GPS accuracy, even without a cell signal. The app will automatically segment tracks for cleaner data.

One of the standout features of GPS Kit is the fully customizable dashboard with a gorgeous high contrast display. You have access to a wide variety of parameters and units such as time, elevation change, speed, odometer, and more. The dashboard allows for a truly personalized experience.

In addition to all the features mentioned above, GPS Kit comes loaded with related utilities such as elevation and speed graphs, on-map tracking controls and timer, on-map ruler for area measurements, and more.

Please note that certain features of the app require an internet connection and extended use may impact battery life. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
